The red-coloured Buddha Amitāyus is adorned with sambhogakāya ornaments and seated in vajrāsana on a lotus throne. His hands in meditation gesture hold the vase containing long-life elixir (amṛta) on his lap. From the vase sprouts the aśoka tree. In the upper corners two Buddhas performing teaching gestures appear in clouds. In the corners at bottom level the White Tārā and the threefaced, eight-armed Uṣnīṣavijaya are placed in front of a highly stylized landscape.
