Bodhisattva Mañjuśrī is shown seated in vajrāsana on a lotus throne. He wields the sword of wisdom with his raised right hand, while his left holds the stem of a lotus flower in front of his heart which supports the Prajñāpāramitā manuscript. In the centre above appears Buddha Śākyamuni flanked by two Gelug figures. In the lower register, Bodhisattva Ṣadākṣarī-Lokeśvara is depicted on the left and the wrathful Vajrapāṇī to the right.
