The four-armed, semi-wrathful goddess Kurukullā is a meditation deity. Surrounded by a flaming mandorla, she is shown dancing in the ardhaparyaṅka posture on a corpse which lies on a lotus. Her red-coloured body is adorned with bone ornaments and she wears a tiger skin around her waist. Crowned with skulls and blowing hair, her attributes refer to her origin as a deity for love magic spells and powers. Two hands hold bow and arrow, the second left a noose and the second right a hook, all made of lotus flowers and leafs. Above her appears probably the wrathful Bodhisattva Vajrapāṇī. In all upper left corner, a Tibetan king is depicted, and in the upper right a high Gelug monk, both in three-quarter profile. In the lower corners appear two red-coloured ḍākinī in the same stance as Kurukullā.
